A lovely cafe with a great atmosphere. It seems popular with locals which is always a good sign and it was fairly busy even though it was a Monday morning. Most of the food is homemade and tastes great and prices are very reasonable. There's a good selection of food and drinks and vegans are well catered for, they even have vegan ice cream. Good kids menu too. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was quite fast. I love the decor! I'll definitely go there again next time I'm in Ripon.

We called in on Spec, lovely little cafe, we both had Chicken & Wild Mushroom Pie with an Americano each, lovely food, well impressed with the Pie, all very filling and the coffee was lovely and tasty, all in all a very nice experience, plenty of tables nicely spaced out. Food and drink competitively priced and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Well Recommended. Many thanks.

A lovely little cafe perfectly situated to watch the world go by. The staff were very accommodating and they were able to offer me a number of gluten free options. A great way to celebrate a morning walk through the Yorkshire countryside :)

We called in at Wilfrid's cafe on a recent visit to Ripon. We needed space, we had a dog with us and one of our party was vegetarian. Wilfrid's offered everything we needed. The food was first rate, with choices for all. The service was friendly, cheerful and swift, despite the fact our visit was late on. I'm sure the staff wanted to close up but we were never made to feel rushed. We would definitely call again when in Ripon. Highly recommended.

Popped in for lunch and I can see why it was so busy! This is a lovely cafe with a good selection of food and drink at really reasonable prices. I had a tuna melt panini and it was the best panini I'd had in a long time! The menunincluded vegan and gluten free options, which is great to see. Tables and chairs were comfy and staff were friendly and helpful. It seemed to be busy when we first walked past, when we popped in and as we were leaving! This is definitely a good place for a bite to eat - thank you!
